The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has officially announced the inclusion of Al-Ameed University in its network of strategic partners within programs related to Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Development, Quality Education, and Greening Education, as part of the Regional Sustainable Development Network.
This achievement reflects the vision of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in establishing robust academic institutions that actively contribute to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reaffirming the university’s commitment to advancing education and scientific research in line with global trends in innovation, technology, and climate responsiveness.
Professor Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul-Rahim, Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, has been appointed as the official representative of Al-Ameed University in UNESCO’s international meetings and training programs under this distinguished partnership.
